Under the planning and guidance of Dr.SFV Selvaraj, an experienced cardiologist and general physician, the cardio-diagnostic care unit of GG hospital was established in 1982. For corporate executives and company clients, a comprehensive master health checkup programme for vital diagnostics risk with final diagnosis and management is undertaken. The following Departments function under cardiodiagnostic care with trained and qualified personnel comprising of PhD, MSc, lab technicians (DMLT) and x-ray technicians

Clinical Lab

Our clinical laboratory has the following equipments to enable us to provide the best possible accurate results for our patients. ADVIA Centaur Immunoassay System: – This is a fully automated random access, chemiluminescent immunoassay system that utilizes non isotopic chemiluminescence for greater sensitivity and precision than any other immunoassays.

BIO – RAD- D 10

The Bio-Rad D 10 hemoglobin testing system is a fully automated analyzer consisting of a single module that provides an integrated method for sample preparation, separation and determination of specific hemoglobin in whole blood.

The separation is based on the principle of HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY

Bio – Rad D 10 determines the following hemoglobin like HbA2, HbF, and HbA1C. In our lab we only assess the levels of HbA1C.
