Dr. Deepu Rajkamal Selvaraj is a highly accomplished Consultant General, Laparoscopic, Colorectal, and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgeon with extensive international training and over two decades of surgical expertise.
He completed his MS in General Surgery from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute in 1999, laying a strong foundation in advanced surgical practice. He further refined his expertise in Europe, earning a Fellowship in Endovisceral Surgery from the University of Bordeaux, France (2001), followed by Fellowship training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the prestigious Maison Saint-Protestante Bagatelle, Bordeaux (2002).
Dr. Deepu has also received specialized training in infertility-enhancing gynecological endoscopic procedures at the University of Kiel, Germany. During his tenure as a Clinical Assistant at St Mary’s Hospital, London, he trained under the internationally renowned Prof. Sir Ara Darzi, gaining advanced proficiency in minimally invasive and colorectal surgery.
He has also undergone advanced training and served within the NHS in Urology and Andrology in the United Kingdom under the mentorship of Prof. Graham Watson (Eastbourne, UK) and Prof. V. Srinivasan (North Wales, UK), further strengthening his expertise in advanced urological and andrological practice.
He later completed his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology in 2010 from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, further consolidating his expertise in complex gastrointestinal, colorectal, and hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries.
